Heat-insulating and thermal-insulating paint "Luminastar"

Industry-leading thermal conductivity (0.09 W/(m·K)! With excellent elasticity and weather resistance, it demonstrates high insulation performance and enhances heating and cooling efficiency!

The product we handle, "Luminastar," is a heat-insulating and thermal insulation (heat retention) paint made from water-based acrylic emulsion. It boasts a solar reflectance rate (in the near-infrared wavelength range) of 92.7%, which is among the top in the industry for heat insulation performance. Additionally, it has a suppressive effect on condensation. The film has an elongation rate of over 250%, and the rubber-like stretch of the coating allows it to follow the cracks in structures, maintaining aesthetic appeal. 【Features】 ■ High thermal insulation performance (thermal conductivity of 0.09 w/(m·k)) ■ High elasticity (over 250%) ■ Excellent weather resistance (over 5000 hours in JIS K 5600-7-7 accelerated weathering test) ■ Strong adhesion (about four times that of JIS standards) ■ Maintains indoor temperature, etc. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study of Luminar Star] Wooden 3-Story Detached House

The difference is minus 23°C! We measured the temperature changes in the attic space before and after painting.

This is an introduction to a case study conducted using the heat-insulating and heat-reflective paint "Luminastar," which keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer just by applying it. This time, the application was done on the roof of a three-story wooden house located in Higashi-Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. We measured the temperature changes in the attic space and the indoor temperature of the third floor (without air conditioning) before and after the Luminastar application. As a result, the maximum attic temperature during the day before the application exceeded 60°C, while after the application, it reached a maximum of 38°C, showing a difference of minus 23°C. [Case Overview] - Location: Roof of a three-story wooden house in Higashi-Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture - Method: Installed HIOKI temperature loggers in the attic and on the third floor to measure temperature - Measurement Period: July 8 to August 2 *For more details, please refer to the external link page or feel free to contact us.

Luminar Star Standard Construction Manual

Introducing the standard construction manual that includes the product configuration of Luminasters and cleaning of painted surfaces.

This document is the standard construction manual for the heat-insulating and heat-reflective paint "Luminastar," which keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer just by applying it. It includes the product composition of Luminastar, surface cleaning for painting, painting specifications, construction procedures, and precautions. This product reflects a high rate of infrared rays from the sun, which heat buildings, thereby keeping buildings cool in summer and improving air conditioning efficiency. In winter, its insulation function reduces heat loss from buildings and enhances indoor heating efficiency. [Contents] ■ Luminastar product composition ■ Surface cleaning for painting <substrate preparation> ■ Luminastar painting specifications ■ Construction procedures and precautions ■ Handling precautions *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

【Luminar Star Construction Case】Food Supermarket

The difference is minus 30.6°C! Measurements of the space temperature in the ceiling area of the store and the outside air temperature were conducted.

This is an introduction to a case study conducted using the heat-insulating and heat-reflective paint "Luminastar," which keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer just by applying it. We measured the space temperature in the ceiling area of the store before and after the Luminastar application, as well as the outside air temperature. The surface temperature of the uncoated part of the semi-roof reached 60.6°C, while the coated part was at 30.0°C, resulting in a verification difference of minus 30.6°C. Additionally, during the hours of 11 AM to 3 PM when the outside temperature was high, we found that the temperature in the ceiling space differed by minus 17°C to 21°C. [Case Overview] - Location: A certain food supermarket in Osaka Prefecture (one-story building) - Ceiling area: 3,265 m² - Duration: - Painting work: May 24 to June 4 - Verification period: May 24 to June 7 (daytime ceiling space temperature changes) - May 12 to June 13 (24-hour ceiling space temperature changes) *For more details, please refer to the external link page or feel free to contact us.
